The Real Estate Market in Central Erin Mills neighbourhood of Mississauga continued to experience price changes with increase in price and sale volume during the second quarter of 2019. The Mississauga neighbourhood experienced sales increase with the sale of 156 homes. This is 52.9% increase over the same period in the prior year when 102 homes were sold. The average house price increased to $765,178 – up by 52.9% compared to the second quarter of 2018 where the average sale price was $753,902.
There continued to be a shortage of homes for sale relative to the number of interested buyers. In the 2-nd quarter of this year, new listings in Central Erin Mills have also shown changes when compared to those in 2018. The number of new listings has increased, with 255 new listings in 2019 compare to 218 in 2018. The number of active listings decreased by 17.11% compared to the same period the prior year.
